Buying your first “real” camera

First off making great photos is about 90% photographer and 10% camera.   There are photographers who have amazing art galleries using their camera phone.  But that being said for those people who ask me what kind of camera they should buy when they want to take photos my suggestion would be the Nikon D40 ($499).  [...]
